Take an amazing walk through the Solar System to understand the true miracle of Earth in space. The Peppercorn Model of the Solar System is set up near the site of the Earth Day Festival starting at 45th Street and Guadalupe. If the sun is the size of an eight-inch bowling ball, then the Earth is the size of a peppercorn 26 yards away! We’ve set up metal stands with the sun and planets and flags which label them, so that you can feel the scale that defines the big movements of our world.
